Holiday In The Park History

Holiday In the Park started 25  years ago in 1997 when Janice Hallisey wanted to provide a Holiday Event for the League City families.  She felt that other Holiday events in the area were too costly and wanted every child to be able to experience the, “Magic of the Holiday Season!” Holiday In the Park began December 5th, 1997 when the Budweiser Clydesdale Horses pranced down Main Street for the very first Grand Night Parade.  Over the last twenty-five years the little League City Parade has turned into a three day festival with three parades, live entertainment, and over one hundred shopping and dining options all nestled under the 100 year old Butler Oaks in League Park.
